Share The Road
This campaign targets bikers and motorists who use roadways to get from point A to point B. It aims to create awareness and form a connection between people who share the road.
Brand identity
When developing the logo, I wanted to focus on the aspects that make bikes and motor vehicles similar. Cooperation between bikers and drivers is more likely when the two can find common ground.
With this is in mind, I created a logo that draws parallels from the mechanisms of a car and a bike. The shared wheels represent the shared desire to move through the world safely and efficiently. Ultimately, the goal was to spark a sense of camaraderie amongst everyone on the road.

Applications
Physical and environmental assets were strategically developed to inspire change in roadway culture.
Poster
This poster serves as a powerful reminder for drivers to stay vigilant and mindful of cyclists. The tire tracks crossing into the bike lane emphasize the vulnerability of those on two wheels, urging motorists to take responsibility for everyone’s safety. By fostering mutual respect and awareness, we can create safer streets for everyone.
Reflective Bike Shirt
As an extension of the Share the Road campaign, I created a bike shirt with reflective details. This application effectively showcases the mark, while utilizing the reflective property of the material to keep bikers safe.
Reflective Decal
I created a reflective decal for bikers to display on their vehicle. The mark is accompanied by the phrase “Share the Road.” It gives bikers the opportunity to spread awareness while on the road.
Window Decal
This idea stemmed from a concept present in the Netherlands. Since there are so many people that use bikes as their primary mode of transportation, drivers have learned to constantly check their surroundings while on the road. One example of this exists in the “Dutch Reach.”
To perform this maneuver, drivers and passengers use their far hand to reach across for the door handle. This act forces the person to turn and look behind the car and into the side mirror for oncoming bikers.
This decal is placed on the window of a vehicle, right above the handle of the car. It is bright yellow to attract the driver’s attention and remind them to check for bikers before opening the door of the car.
